Manuscripta

Manuscripta is de jaarlijkse opening van het boekenseizoen. Ruim 120 auteurs uit binnen- en buitenland waren daarom op 1 en 2 september in Amsterdam aanwezig bij dit feestelijke festijn. De schrijvers werden tijdens het evenement op het terrein van Cultuurpark Westergasfabriek geïnterviewd, lazen voor, signeerden en beantwoordden vragen van lezers. En natuurlijk was ik daar als boekenverslinder, verse inkt ruiker, schrijver in spe en vernuftige biebmiep bij aanwezig én voelde mij helemaal in mijn element.

Jonge Schrijversavond 2011
Men neme een overenthousiaste schrijver, een stelletje jonge honden en een prachtige locatie. De Jonge Schrijversavond 2011 kan met een daverend applaus de boeken in, want deze drieluik zorgde vrijdag 7 oktober voor een zeer succesvolle avond.

Groot, groter, groots
Initiatiefnemer en schrijver Maurice Seleky bedacht een literaire talkshow om jonge schrijvers (letterlijk) een podium te geven. Drie jaar geleden vond de eerst editie nog plaats in een muf, naar bier stinkend hol in CREA. Dit jaar was de locatie groter dan groots: de Stadsschouwburg aan het Leidseplein. En hoewel de zaal niet geheel was uitverkocht, was daar niets van te merken. Er werd vol enthousiasme geluisterd, geklapt en gelachen om de hilarische, maar soms ook ontroerende anekdotes van de jonge, talentvolle schrijvers.
