Afgelopen zaterdag mocht ik voor de tweede keer de IJhallen onveilig maken met mijn aanwezigheid. En dat in het gezelschap van vriendinnetjes R., S. en D. Meegesleept door mijn enthousiasme, stapten we nog een beetje slaapdronken in de auto om richting Amsterdam te rijden en langs de 700 kramen op het NDSM-terrein te struinen.

Handen vol (troep)
Amsterdam Noord stroomt één keer per maand vol met auto’s, hipkipjes en koopjesjagers. Voor vier euro (kinderen €1.50) stappen deze mensen vervolgens het terrein van de IJhallen op. Snuffelend langs de vele marktkraampjes – het ene volgeladen met troep, het andere met fijne kleding – ben je met gemak een paar uur zoet. Afdingen is hier tot topsport verheven en als je iets leuks ziet, ben je natuurlijk niet te enthousiast. Soms probeert iemand je een lelijke legging aan te smeren voor een absurde prijs, soms krijg je een fantastisch vintage jasje mee naar huis voor een paar euro. En met lege handen thuiskomen? Dat lijkt mij na een bezoek aan de IJhallen onmogelijk.

Geslaagd!
Ik ging er met een fantastisch (nep)leren jurkje vandoor dat voor mij gemaakt leek te zijn, vond een zwart shirt dat geweldig boven mijn gekleurde skinnyjeans zal staan en ging er met een paar prachtige leren, bruine laarzen vandoor die nauwelijks gedragen bleken te zijn (zie foto’s onderaan). D. ging er met twee ultragoedkope en stoere jasjes vandoor en R. laadde haar shopper vol verschillende kledingstukken, waarbij haar leren zwarte jasje toch wel de topaankoop van de dag genoemd mag worden.

    Nou, dat ziet er behoorlijk goed uit. Vooral die roze jurken op de achtergrond voor grote prinsessen. 🙂

    Hi! Leuk dat je altijd comments achter laat op m’n blog 🙂 Ik ga 30 juni naar de IJhallen, niet om te kopen, maar om te verkopen! Heel veel kleding en andere spullen, dus als je er dan ook weer bent, kom je dan ff gedag zeggen?
