RCN la Ferme du Latois

Nadat we de laatste spullen bij het ochtendgloren in de auto hebben gegooid, rijden we bepakt en bezakt richting het Zuiden. Tommie laat ons weten dat we 950 kilometer lang mogen cruisen door ons vlakke kikkerlandje, België en warempel.. regelrecht door Parijs. De lange autorit van elf uur (met stops) is allang geslaagd als we een glimp van de Eiffeltoren en de Sacre Coeur op mogen vangen.

En uiteindelijk belanden we in de Vendée, de Franse polder aan de Atlantische oceaan. We rijden over landweggetjes richting het dorpje Coëx (spreek uit: kwex), om uiteindelijk op de idyllische camping La Ferme du Latois aan te komen. De landelijke stijl van vroegâh is terug te zien op de ruime, prachtig opgezette camping. Als we onze plek toegewezen krijgen, juichen we stilletjes; wat een fijne plek!
